With more than 15 years' experience, Health, Safety and Well-being is a huge part of Frances' life journey.
Frances holds a PostGraduate diploma in OHS (Otago), the Nebosh International General Certificate and is affiliated to the New Zealand Institute of Safety Management. She is an experienced investigator trained in Incident Causation Analysis Method (ICAM) and has industry experience with ACC audit requirements for the Accredited Employer Programme (AEP) and Workplace Safety Management Practices (WSMP).
Prior to forming Safety Biz, Frances worked at Fonterra where she led a team of 12 OHS professionals to support the continuous improvement of Health and Safety across 6 manufacturing sites and 2 large distribution centres.
A NZ Registered Comprehensive Nurse, she specialised in Occupational Health and has worked with organisations such as Fonterra and NZ Fire Service, to undertake Health surveillance monitoring for the early detection and prevention of work related impacts on health. Health Education, Well-being programmes, Injury Rehabilitation & Claim Management were other key areas of focus during her years of practice.

Frances always has a smile on her face and song to sing. Often spotted taking a stroll down the beach or enjoying a long black at a local cafe. Frances loves to spend her free time out and about supporting community events, gardening or hitting the rail trails.
