"Our operation in Hamilton is a large and complex facility and has undergone a recent extensive review as a result of the changes brought about by the Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017. Frances was primarily engaged to assist us in upgrading our Emergency Response Manual to the new standards. This involved the development of response plans for all our general risks such as fire, earthquake and security as well detailed documentation relating to our specific risks associated with the storage and handling of our corrosive, toxic, flammable and oxidiser hazardous substances. During the process, Frances engaged with all authorities such as FENZ, NZ Police, St Johns and the local councils.

Her ability to interpret the new legislation, research the risks associated with our materials and develop a clear and coherent response plan was exceptional. As a result she quickly became our subject matter expert and her support evolved to providing technical advice for our Sales teams on customer sites where Ecolab provides chemical deliveries in bulk form.
